Job summary

Applegreen is seeking a General Manager for a quick service restaurant located inside a travel plaza on a major highway. You will lead a dedicated team to achieve sales, speed of service, customer satisfaction, brand standards, and food safety goals.

Responsibilities include budgeting, staffing, training, and maintaining strong customer relationships while working with Brand Partners, Human Resources, Loss Prevention, Finance, and Facilities. A ServSafe background is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of supervisor or unit-level manager experience in a quick service restaurant.
• Flexible on-site schedule ~50 hours per week including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Stand and walk for extended periods, able to lift at least 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day activities of the QSR team to hit sales, speed, customer satisfaction, and food quality targets.
• Maintain operating budgets, inventory controls, food and labor costs, gross profit, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards and food safety requirements.
• Recruit, develop, and retain a strong team; coach and train staff; handle disciplinary actions as needed.
• Enforce cash handling policies and procedures; ensure policy compliance with laws.
• Collaborate with Brand Partners, HR, Loss Prevention, Finance, and Facilities & Maintenance.
• Foster an engaging work culture with learning, development, and recognition.
