Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services in New Jersey is seeking a General Manager for a quick service restaurant inside a travel plaza on a major highway. You will lead day-to-day operations and a dedicated team to achieve profitability and performance targets.

This role requires strong leadership, budget oversight, adherence to brand standards and food safety, and the ability to recruit and develop staff. Flexible schedules and opportunities across our network are offered.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of supervisor or unit-level manager experience in a quick service restaurant.
• Available to work a flexible on-site schedule approximately 50 hours per week including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift at least 20 pounds.
• Demonstrates ability to lead a fast-paced team and manage budgets and costs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day activities of QSR associates and managers to meet sales and service targets.
• Maintain operating budgets, inventory controls, food and labor costs, gross profit, and reporting.
• Ensure the QSR meets brand standards and food safety requirements.
• Foster an engaging work culture with learning and recognition; recruit, develop, and retain a strong team.
• Collaborate with Brand Partners, Human Resources, Loss Prevention, Finance, and Facilities & Maintenance.
