Applegreen USA is seeking a General Manager for a QSR located inside a travel plaza on a major highway. You will oversee day-to-day operations and profitability, leading a team to meet financial and performance targets while upholding brand standards and food safety.

The role requires strong leadership, budget discipline, and customer-centric service in a fast-paced environment, with collaboration across partners and departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Minimum 2+ years as a supervisor or unit-level manager in a QSR.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day activities of associates and managers within the QSR to achieve or exceed targets for sales, speed of service, customer satisfaction, brand standards, and food quality & safety.
• Maintain operating budgets, inventory controls, food and labor costs, gross profit, and reporting.
• Ensure the QSR meets brand standards and food safety requirements.
• Foster an engaging work culture of learning, development, and recognition.
• Recruit, develop, and retain a strong team with appropriate staffing levels.
• Hire, coach, train, promote, and manage disciplinary actions for the QSR team.
• Monitor cash handling policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and local, state, & federal laws.
• Address customer needs and resolve issues professionally, ensuring positive relationships.
• Collaborate with Brand Partners, HR, Loss Prevention, Finance, and Facilities & Maintenance.
• Maintain relationships with vendors and communities.
