Job summary

Applegreen USA is seeking a General Manager for a QSR inside a travel plaza. You will lead day-to-day operations, drive sales, manage budgets, control labor and food costs, and ensure brand standards and food safety.

You will recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team, collaborate with brand partners and support partners, and foster an engaging work culture while delivering exceptional guest experiences across peak hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years as a supervisor or unit-level manager in a QSR.
• Available to work a flexible on-site schedule ~50 hours/week including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• ServSafe Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activities of associates and managers within the QSR to meet sales, speed, customer satisfaction, and food safety targets.
• Maintain operating budgets, inventory controls, and labor costs while tracking gross profit and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards and food safety requirements.
• Foster an engaging work culture focused on learning, development, and recognition.
• Recruit, develop, and retain a strong team with appropriate staffing levels.
• Oversee hiring, coaching, training, promotions, and disciplinary actions for the QSR team.
