Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics in the United States seeks a Postdoctoral scientist (Global PKPD) to develop Quantitative Systems Pharmacology (QSP) models and apply AI-powered approaches to integrate biology, pharmacology, and preclinical/clinical data.

Qualifications

  • PhD in quantitative pharmacology, systems biology, biomedical engineering, applied mathematics, or related field.
  • Experience developing QSP/mechanistic PKPD or ODE-based biological system models.
  • Experience developing virtual patient populations.
  • Proficiency in modeling software such as R, Matlab/Simbiology, Python, NONMEM, Monolix, or related tools.
  • Experience with parameter estimation and sensitivity analysis.
  • Authorized to work in the United States full-time; Lilly does not sponsor visas/work authorization.

Position Overview

Postdoctoral scientist (Global PKPD) developing Quantitative Systems Pharmacology (QSP) models; collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and apply AI-powered QSP models integrating biology, pharmacology, and preclinical/clinical data.

Primary Responsibilities

Basic Qualifications / Required

  • Knowledge of T cell engager bispecifics and immunology; PK/PD and drug discovery/development.
  • Interest in AI/ML integration; strong problem-solving, organization, communication; strong publication record.
Additional Information / Benefits
  • Fixed-term 2 years (potential to extend to 3 years).
  • Anticipated wage: $58,000–$123,200; full-time roles may be eligible for bonus and comprehensive benefits (e.g., 401(k), medical/dental/vision, life insurance, time off, well-being).
