Job summary

Gotion Inc. seeks a dynamic QMS Engineer to drive quality in our Manteno, IL manufacturing facility. You will architect the QMS, run audits, support CAPA, and lead data-driven improvements with cross-functional teams.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Engineering with 3+ years in quality engineering in manufacturing, preferably battery/automotive. Proficiency in APQP, PPAP, SPC, FMEA, MSA and knowledge of VDA6.3 are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• 3+ years of quality engineering in manufacturing, with battery or automotive experience preferred.
• Experience with APQP, PPAP, SPC, FMEA and MSA; knowledge of VDA6.3 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build a QMS architecture and related quality documents; organize cross-check and sign-off.
• Coordinate internal quality system audits and management reviews; liaise with training and certification agencies.
• Identify trends, propose preventive actions to reduce risks.
• Organize root cause analysis and verify effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Develop standard inspection guidelines.
• Maintain records of quality activities, reports, audits and corrective actions.
• Track industry best practices and promote factory quality systems and process optimization.
