Job summary

MorningStar Senior Living in Fort Collins, CO is seeking a Med Care Manager/QMAP to administer medications under physician orders and the supervision of the Wellness Director. The role requires compliance with state Medication Administration regulations and a compassionate approach to resident care.

You will order and document meds, monitor for side effects, and help update care plans, ensuring privacy and dignity in daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer experience in Assisted Living or Memory Care.
• Must be able to read and write English.

Responsibilities

• Administer and document regularly prescribed medications per MAR and physician orders.
• Order meds from pharmacy as prescribed to ensure availability.
• Document medications given in the resident's medical record after administration.
• Observe and report reactions and side effects to licensed nurses.
• Take and record vital signs prior to meds that affect vitals.
• Report medication errors to Wellness Director immediately.
• Assist with development/review of care plans with other disciplines.
• Maintain resident privacy, respect, and dignity.
• Support daily care tasks (toileting, grooming, feeding, etc.).
• Demonstrate core values: Love, Kindness, Honesty, Goodness, Fairness, Respect.
