Job summary

MorningStar Senior Living in Lone Tree, CO seeks a dedicated QMAP/Caregiver for a full-time role. Administer, pour, pass and document medications per physician orders under the Wellness Director and state regulations.

The position emphasizes resident safety, privacy and compassionate care. Qualified candidates will have CO QMAP certification, state Medication Administration training, First Aid, a high school diploma, and prior Assisted Living experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• QMAP certification in CO.
• Medication Administration training as required by ALF regulations.
• First Aid certification as required by CO ALF regulations.

Responsibilities

• Administer and document regularly prescribed medications per MAR and physician orders.
• Order medications 7 days prior to running out and ensure delivery; notify Wellness Director if not received.
• Document medications given immediately with date and initials.
• Observe and report adverse reactions and vital signs as ordered.
• Report medication errors to Wellness Director immediately.
• Assist with care plans and daily resident care while respecting privacy and dignity.
• Maintain safety and comfort of residents and communicate in English.
