Job summary

The Qualified (Certified) Medication Aide (QMA or CMA) at Trilogy Health Services assists with administering medications to residents under the direction of a licensed nurse and DON, and supports activities of daily living as needed.

Based at The Meadows of Kalida in Kalida, OH, the role requires state certification, CNA in good standing, and 0-1 years' experience; benefits include weekly pay, paid time off, and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• Certified as QMA or CMA by the state and maintain CNA certification in good standing.
• Strong patient care and attention to medication administration safety.
• Ability to work under the supervision of a licensed nurse and DON.

Responsibilities

• Set up, administer, and record prescribed medications for residents under supervision.
• Practice the five rights of medication administration within scope of role.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed.
• Label, store, receive and destroy medication per company policy.
• Perform medication charting as directed by the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
