Job summary

Trilogy is seeking a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA/CMA) to support residents with medications and daily living activities in a compassionate long-term care community in New Albany, Indiana. You will administer prescribed medications under licensed supervision, follow the five rights, maintain medication records, and keep CNA and state certifications in good standing.

0–1 years of relevant experience preferred; training provided.

Qualifications

• Certified as a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA/CMA) by the state.
• Maintain CNA certification in good standing with the state.
• 0–1 years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, administer, and record prescribed medications under supervision.
• Practice the five rights of medication administration.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed.
• Label, store, receive and destroy medication per policy.
• Perform medication charting as directed by nursing leadership.

Qualifications

The Qualified (Certified) Medication Aide (QMA or CMA) assists with administering medications to residents as directed by the physician, nurse supervisor, and Director of Nursing (DON). Additionally, this role assists residents with activities of daily living.Key Responsibilities

• The Qualified (Certified) Medication Aide sets up, administers, and records certain prescribed medications for residents in the facility under the supervision of a licensed nurse and as allowed by State regulatory agencies.
• Practice the five rights of medication administration within the scope of your role.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed.
• Properly label, store, receive and destroy medication per company policy.
• Perform medication charting as directed by the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.

Qualifications

• Certified as a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) or Certified Medication Aide (CMA) by the state and maintain a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification in good standing with the state.
• 0-1 years of relevant experience preferred
