Job summary

StoryPoint is hiring a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) for the Granger, IN location. The role covers 6am-6pm with part-time and full-time options and offers pay of $22-$24 per hour. Full-time employees receive comprehensive benefits and PTO.

Qualifications

• QMA Licenses required.
• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Must have aptitude for dementia-related situations.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a TB clearance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer medication as ordered by physician.
• Verify resident identity before administering medication.
• Follow hand-washing policy and infection control procedures.
• Order medications, supplies, and equipment as needed.
• Remove expired or discontinued medications from cart and resident areas.
• Maintain accurate medication records for your shift and ensure keys are accounted for.
• Chart and document important events as per policy.
• Assist with admissions, transfers and discharges as requested.
