Job summary

Health & Human Services Commission (HHSC) in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking a LTCR ICF/IID QIDP Surveyor to conduct on-site inspections and regulatory investigations in long-term care facilities. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a human service field.
• Direct experience with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
• Prefer one year of QIDP experience in an intermediate care facility or similar setting.
• Experience explaining and interpreting compliance with state and federal licensure regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site licensure inspections and investigations in ICF-MR facilities.
• Perform annual comprehensive surveys and investigations of abuse, neglect, or exploitation.
• Write detailed reports with deficiencies and narratives to support findings.
• Travel up to 80% statewide to facilities within the region and across the state.
