Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) seeks a QMRP Surveyor focusing on ICF/IID surveys across Beaumont and other facilities. The role involves on-site inspections, investigations, and reporting to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

Travel up to 80% within the region and statewide is required. Requires a bachelor’s degree in a human services field and experience with intellectual/developmental disabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a human service field (sociology, social work, psychology, etc.).
• Experience with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities preferred.
• Ability to interpret complex federal and state regulations governing facilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site licensure inspections, complaint and incident investigations, and surveys.
• Communicate findings clearly to facility staff and stakeholders.
• Prepare narrative reports detailing deficiencies and regulatory findings.
