Job summary

Merakey is seeking Direct Support Professionals for our Ambler, PA program. No experience required—paid training provided. You will work with individuals with IDD in various settings, supporting daily living, personal care and social skills, following individualized plans.

Base pay starts at $16/hour with $2–$3 shift differential and an additional $2/hour enhanced pay option. Schedule: Saturday and Sunday 7am–11pm. Benefits are available to support diverse work arrangements.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Experience in a home health aide setting or with individuals who have Intellectual and Developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Desire to help others reach their fullest potential.

Responsibilities

• Follow the Individual Support Plan to assist with daily living activities.
• Assist with personal hygiene and daily care.
• Support independence with housekeeping and laundry and engage in social/communication activities with individuals.

Our ideal Direct Support Professional candidate will have a strong desire to create long-term impacts on their consumer’s lives and enjoy encouraging, mentoring, and coaching others to achieve their goals. Spend your day in a variety of settings making memories with our individuals. By following the Individual Support Plan, you can enjoy your days at the park and sensory gardens, while working on social and communication skills. Enhancing independence by assisting with daily hygiene and personal care. Foster a true sense of pride in your individual, by teaching them to navigate daily living activities, such as housekeeping and laundry.

No experience required - we provide PAID training.

Schedule: Saturday & Sunday 7am-11pm

Base hourly rate $16.00/hour with $2-$3 shift differential and the Enhanced Pay option of $2/hour
