The role provides engaging, supportive, and structured activities to help adults with developmental disabilities develop independence, confidence and quality of life. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associates degree preferred; HS diploma with IDD experience considered

The Program Instructor provides engaging, supportive, and structured activities for adults with developmental disabilities. This role plays a vital part in helping individuals develop skills that promote independence, confidence, and quality of life.

• Facilitate Adult Day Program activities, including:
• Vocational training
• Independent living skills
• Cognitive and social development
• Leisure and recreational activities
• Mobility, sensory, and perceptual motor skills
• Support individuals in developing computer and basic technology skills
• Encourage participation while adapting activities to meet individual needs
• Maintain a positive, flexible, and person-centered approach
• Collaborate with team members to support individualized goals
