Job summary

Primoris Energy Services in Hubbard, TX seeks a Lead Coordinator QHSE to oversee and implement all QHSE programs across the site. You will ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and company policies while promoting a safe and environmentally responsible work environment.

Responsibilities include developing and maintaining QHSE management systems, conducting inspections, leading incident investigations, delivering training, and reporting performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a dedicated QHSE role.
• Certifications CSP, CHST, ASP or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel locally to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive QHSE management systems and procedures for the Hubbard, TX site.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards, evaluate compliance, and recommend corrective actions.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and ensure proper documentation and reporting of all incidents, near misses, and non-conformities.
• Develop and deliver QHSE training programs for employees and contractors, ensuring understanding and adherence to safety protocols.
• Monitor and analyze QHSE performance metrics, prepare reports for management, and identify areas for continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local QHSE regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA) and company policies.
• Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and employees to foster a strong safety culture and promote proactive risk management.
• Manage and maintain all necessary QHSE documentation, permits, and records.
• Participate in pre-job planning and hazard assessments for new projects and activities.
• Act as a primary point of contact for regulatory agencies during inspections and inquiries.
