Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in an HSE role, with 2+ years in supervision in energy/construction.
• OSHA 30-hour certification required; CSP/CHST/ASP preferred.
• Knowledge of federal, state, local HSE regs (OSHA, EPA, DOT).

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor site-specific HSE plans and procedures.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits for hazards and non-compliance.
• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Provide HSE training and orientation to staff and contractors.
• Maintain accurate HSE records and reports.
• Collaborate with project management to integrate HSE into planning.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of PPE and safety equipment.
• Act as primary contact for HSE with regulators, clients, and stakeholders.
• Promote proactive safety culture and employee engagement.
• Stay current with industry best practices and regulations.
