Job summary

SRM Concrete, a national leader in ready mix concrete, seeks a Quality Control Technician to ensure our products meet high industry standards. You’ll test materials, interpret results, and work with production to resolve issues, with on-the-job training provided for newcomers.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred in materials science, concrete management, or related field.
• Entry-level candidates welcome; on-the-job training provided.
• ACI certification is a plus or willingness to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Test raw materials, in-process, and finished concrete using standard methods.
• Interpret results against specifications and control limits.
• Inspect concrete products for quality compliance.
• Collaborate with production to troubleshoot quality issues.
• Provide quality control training to staff as directed.
• Maintain accurate records of tests and quality-related activities.
• Stay current on industry trends and regulations to improve QC processes.
