Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure is seeking a hands-on technician to perform routine strength tests on hardened concrete and to monitor on-site production processes. This role supports quality assurance in a manufacturing setting and requires ACI and NPCA certifications, plus the ability to lift and handle materials safely.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or equivalent, strong reading/writing skills, and basic computer proficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• ACI Field Grade Level I.
• ACI Strength Technician Level I.
• NPCA PQS I.
• NPCA PQS II QC/QA.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team members.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs periodically throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily compressive strength testing of hardened concrete specimens
• Perform daily pre/post pour inspections on products
• Monitor production operations as required
• Assist when necessary with strip, setup, and pouring of products
• Report to management team on process improvements, repetitive mistakes, and quality concerns
• Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
