Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, seeks a Quality Control Technician to perform routine tests on raw materials, in-process components, and finished products in an indoor/outdoor manufacturing setting.

The role requires a high school diploma, quality control experience, and ACI/PCI certification. You should have basic computer skills, the ability to lift up to 40 lbs, and strong communication with the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Quality control experience in related industry preferred.
• ACI/PCI Certification preferred, or ability to pass ACI Concrete Field Testing within 3 months and maintain certification.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate with team.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. periodically.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily compressive strength testing of hardened concrete specimens.
• Perform daily pre/post pour inspections on products.
• Monitor production operations as required.
• Assist with strip, setup, and pouring of products.
• Report to management on process improvements, repetitive mistakes, and quality concerns.
• Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
