FUCHS PETROLUB SE in Harvey, IL is seeking a Second Shift technician to verify quality of raw materials and finished products, perform blend adjustments, and maintain detailed records in SAP. The role requires a chemistry-related bachelor’s degree and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Verifies quality of incoming raw materials and outgoing products using established methods.
• Performs calculations and blends to ensure conformance.
• Keeps detailed records and enters test data into SAP; files vendor certifications and inspections.
• Prepares laboratory reagents; calibrates equipment; stores retain samples.
• Demonstrates problem solving and teamwork with colleagues.
• Participates in housekeeping and other duties as assigned by management.

Your Responsibilities:

• Second Shift M-F 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Uses established methods to verify quality of incoming raw materials and outgoing products; performs calculations and makes blends to determine adjustments that may be required to ensure conformance
• Keeps detailed records and communicates results in a timely manner;Enters test data into our SAP system; files vendor certifications, and raw material and production inspections in appropriate area;
• Prepares laboratory reagents; calibrates equipment; files retain samples in appropriate holding areas;
• Demonstrates problem solving skills, flexibiity in work, and collaborates with colleagues
• Participates in general housekeeping including routine cleaning and maintenance; and performs other duties as requested by management.

Compensation:

FUCHS offers a competitive compensation with experience in a similar position. The compensation range for this position is $24 - $25.50 an hour, but actual salary will vary depending upon a new hire's experience and qualifications as well as internal equity.
