Job summary

FUCHS Lubricants Co. in Kansas City, KS is seeking a Filler Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will work on a 2nd shift with training on 1st shift in the initial months, in a safety-first environment.

You will measure, weigh, label, and package products, operate forklifts, scan items, maintain logs, and ensure quality while following DOT and OSHA standards, PPE, and a clean, organized workspace.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read and follow manufacturing work instructions.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain a safe, clean workspace.
• Good judgment and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Always wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Safely operate forklifts or pallet jacks to retrieve and move packaging materials.
• Label and fill packaging items in compliance with company, DOT, and OSHA standards.
• Accurately measure and weigh chemicals into designated containers following detailed instructions.
• Scan packaging items, load trucks, and manage inventory using company systems.
• Complete batch tickets and manufacturing logs to ensure full compliance with company policies.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area at all times.
• Report any damaged or missing inventory to supervisors promptly.
• Support other duties and special projects as assigned.

FUCHS offers competitive pay commensurate with experience in a similar position. The range for this position is $20-$22 per hour, but actual compensation will vary depending upon a new hire’s experience and qualifications as well as internal equity. This position is for 2nd shift, however you will be training on 1st shift for the first few months of employment.

• Good judgment and adaptability in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Ability to operate a sit-down forklift (training provided).
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in varying temperatures, from hot to cold.
