Job summary

FUCHS Lubricants Co. is seeking a candidate for second shift (Mon-Fri, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM) to verify quality of raw materials and finished products, perform blends, and maintain detailed records.

Responsibilities include SAP data entry, preparation of reagents, and calibration of equipment in a collaborative lab setting. The role requires a Bachelors in Chemistry/Biology/Biochemistry, strong communication, and familiarity with SAP/Office tools.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or Biochemistry is required.
• Microsoft applications experience (Excel, Word, Outlook) is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Laboratory experience is a plus.
• SAP computer system a plus.

Responsibilities

• Verifies quality of incoming raw materials and outgoing products; performs adjustments as needed.
• Enters test data into SAP and files certifications and inspections.
• Prepares laboratory reagents and calibrates equipment; retains samples properly.
• Demonstrates problem solving and collaborates with colleagues.
• Participates in housekeeping and other duties as assigned by management.

Your Responsibilities

• Second Shift M-F 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Uses established methods to verify quality of incoming raw materials and outgoing products; performs calculations and makes blends to determine adjustments that may be required to ensure conformance
• Keeps detailed records and communicates results in a timely manner;Enters test data into our SAP system; files vendor certifications, and raw material and production inspections in appropriate area;
• Prepares laboratory reagents; calibrates equipment; files retain samples in appropriate holding areas;
• Demonstrates problem solving skills, flexibiity in work, and collaborates with colleagues
• Participates in general housekeeping including routine cleaning and maintenance; and performs other duties as requested by management.

Compensation

FUCHS offers a competitive compensation with experience in a similar position. The compensation range for this position is $24 - $25.50 an hour, but actual salary will vary depending upon a new hire's experience and qualifications as well as internal equity.
