Job Summary

The Quality Technician ensures quality in polymeric sand production, overseeing formulation, raw material inspection, and adherence to specifications and processes.

Job Responsibilities

• Testing and oversight of final products and raw materials
• Investigating customer quality complaints
• Reporting to management and agencies
• Sampling for sales and QC departments
• Documenting daily activities with regional and site managers
• Performing hourly volume checks to control fill rates
• Retaining and recording samples
• Performing other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• High School diploma or GED; vocational training or experience
• At least 3 years' lab and testing experience
• Knowledge of ASTM standards and mold parts
• Data recording and reporting skills
• Electronics and PLC knowledge
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Flexible schedule
