Job summary

Gideon Contracting, LLC is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager for Federal/DOD construction projects in the Jacksonville, AR area. Qualifications

• Minimum five years of Federal/DOD construction experience.
• Knowledge of construction documents, procedures, scheduling and testing.
• Ability to manage projects sized 2–10 million USD.

Responsibilities

• Implement the Construction Quality Control Program at assigned jobsites.
• Perform preparatory and initial phase meetings/inspections.
• Prepare and submit Quality Control Daily Reports.
• Track and provide project submittals to the Government; maintain submittal register.
• Maintain collaborative relationships with owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and Gideon team members to ensure a compliant project.
• Maintain QC procedures, including document control, RFIs, material samples, and redlines.
• Maintain the QC Testing Log and deficiency log.
• Oversee project close-out.

Qualifications

MinimumoffiveyearsofFederal/DODconstructionexperience.Relevantexperiencemayincludenewbuildingconstruction,design-build,buildingrenovations,civilwork,etc.

• Completionofthe“ConstructionQualitymanagement”(CQM)forContractor'scourse.
• Knowledgeofconstruction(i.e.,prints,plansprocedures,schedulingandtesting).
• MusthavestrongcomputerskillsandfamiliaritywithMicrosoftOfficeSuite.
• Mustbeabletomanageprojectsof2to10millioninsize.
• Mustbeabletotravel.
• MustbeabletoobtainaccesstoaFederalInstallation.
