Job summary

Cascade Pump in Santa Fe Springs, California, is seeking a QC Lead to oversee the QC department, train inspection staff, and ensure products meet quality standards. Under the Plant Manager, you’ll drive safety and enforce quality across the shop, coordinating with other department leads.

The role requires leadership, hands-on inspection experience, calibration knowledge, and the ability to manage nonconformances and drive continuous quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years QC inspection experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience
• Familiarity with tool calibration practices
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds
• Willing to be forklift trained

Responsibilities

• Lead the QC team, train inspectors, and assign QC tasks.
• Perform incoming inspection of raw materials and parts to meet drawings.
• Execute or assign First Article Inspections of parts.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections to ensure conformance.
• Review customer returns and submit product disposition decisions.
• Recommend practical rework methods for nonconforming parts.
• Document steps for disposition and close NCRs in the NC system.
• Maintain calibration of inspection tools and equipment.
