Swanson Group's General Plant in Oregon is seeking a QC Supervisor to lead a crew of QC technicians, oversee daily quality checks, scheduling, and inventory control, while ensuring safety and compliance.

You will drive continuous improvement through root cause analysis, monitor KPIs, coordinate with maintenance, and train staff. This role reports to Plant Manager and requires hands-on leadership in a manufacturing environment.

Formación

• Lead and direct a crew of QC technicians. Ensure daily safety, production and quality standards.
• Perform quality checks and monitor production KPIs, addressing variances as they occur.
• Provide production employees with safety training and process documentation.
• Coordinate with maintenance to resolve issues and improve processes.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise all employees in daily safety, production, quality and recovery duties.
• Perform quality checks and monitor KPIs; address safety, production and quality variances.
• Provide daily, weekly, and monthly safety training to staff.
• Schedule log processing and lay up line balancing with available logs and grades.
• Apply root cause analysis to drive continuous improvement in operations.
• Collaborate with maintenance to resolve issues and enhance processes.
• Assist General Foreman with employee evaluations.
• Operate machines safely at production levels; maintain records per plant policy.
