Job summary

Mckenna-Labs-1 in Fullerton, CA, seeks a Quality Control Lab Manager to lead Micro and Analytical teams, ensure products meet specifications, and drive CAPA, data analytics, and continuous improvement.

You will oversee release testing, manage raw materials and finished goods testing, and partner with cross-functional groups to maintain cGMP compliance and robust quality systems. This onsite role requires a chemistry or microbiology background and a proven track record in regulated manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Experience in regulated manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of GMPs and regulatory guidance (FDA/ISO).
• Ability to analyze metrics and drive CAPA.

Responsibilities

• Lead Quality Control teams (Micro and Analytical) to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Manage Quality Control activities and staff.
• Oversee raw material testing, in-process testing, finished goods testing, and stability testing.
• Review and maintain product specifications and masters; enforce SOP criteria.
• Drive CAPA, investigations (OOS, complaints) and data-driven improvements.
• Ensure cGMP compliance and safety practices.
