Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Lab Manager in California to oversee Micro and Analytical QC teams, ensuring products meet specifications and comply with cGMP. You will lead investigations, CAPAs, and drive data-driven quality improvements.

The role focuses on testing of materials and finished products, SOP maintenance, and collaboration with customers and internal partners to sustain high quality standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a regulated manufacturing environment or 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Experience leading microbiology and analytical labs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Microbiology or related field.
• Knowledge of ERP systems; RedZone familiarity is a plus.
• Strong GMP and regulatory knowledge (FDA 21 CFR 210/211 or ISO22716).
• Proven ability to coach, develop, and drive performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead Quality Control teams (Micro and Analytical) and drive CAPA investigations.
• Manage QC activities and staff while ensuring cGMP compliance.
• Review and maintain product specs and SOP criteria.
• Support new product development and tech transfers from QC perspective.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to meet quality and regulatory goals.
