Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a detail-oriented QC Inspector to join our quality assurance team in the Town of Islip, NY. You will work under supervision to ensure mechanical and electromechanical assemblies meet aerospace standards, performing inspections at incoming, in-process, and final stages with calibrated instruments.

Ideal candidates have 2 years of experience with a High School diploma, and a willingness to work first shift in a high-precision manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Reading engineering documentation and inspecting parts/assemblies at incoming, in-process, and final stages.
• Using calibrated instruments to take mechanical and electrical measurements.
• Troubleshooting electromechanical assemblies and ensuring calibration is current.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated QC Inspector to join our quality assurance team. In this role, you will work under the supervision of the QC Supervisor and Manufacturing Management to ensure our mechanical and electromechanical assemblies meet strict aerospace and spaceflight standards. salary: $58,240 - $62,400 per year shift: First work hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PM education: High School

Responsibilities

• The QC Inspector will work full time under the supervision of the QC Supervisor
• and Manufacturing Management
• Read engineering documentation
• Inspect parts and assemblies at incoming, in-process, and final inspection
• Make mechanical and electrical measurements using calibrated instruments
• Troubleshoot electromechanical assemblies
• Managing calibration
• Managing source inspection
• Managing production data
