Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our aerospace manufacturing team in Melville, NY. This role is the final line of defense to ensure components meet aerospace standards and customer specifications, focusing on visual and non-dimensional inspections without precision instruments.

Responsibilities include inspecting surfaces, verifying labeling and traceability, and auditing documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in quality control or manufacturing (aerospace, automotive, or precision manufacturing preferred).

Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our aerospace manufacturing team. In this role, you will serve as the final line of defense to ensure all components and assemblies meet strict aerospace standards, customer specifications, and industry compliance requirements.

This position focuses strictly on visual and non-dimensional inspections. You will evaluate surface finishes, verify assembly completeness, inspect paint and coatings, check labeling, and audit documentation—without the use of precision measuring instruments or handheld gages.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 1–3 years of experience in quality control or manufacturing (aerospace, automotive, or precision manufacturing preferred).

salary: $20 - $23 per hour

work hours: 6 AM - 3 PM
