Job summary

Pacer Staffing LLC in California is seeking a Quality Inspector II to perform quality inspections and testing of components throughout the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in quality inspection, FAI experience, and the ability to read blueprints and GD&T.

Background in regulated environments is preferred. Responsibilities include inspecting products at multiple stages, maintaining records, performing audits, and ensuring adherence to quality standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain quality assurance procedures.
• Conduct internal audits and follow up on corrective actions.

• Work with manufacturing and cross-functional teams.
• Maintain regular attendance.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Quality Inspector II to perform quality inspections and testing of components, parts, assemblies, and products throughout the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have experience in quality inspection or testing, First Article Inspection (FAI), blueprint and engineering drawing interpretation, and working within structured quality systems.

Candidates with backgrounds in manufacturing, aerospace, industrial, or other highly regulated environments are preferred.

• Conduct quality control inspections of products, materials, components, assemblies, and subassemblies at various stages of production.
• Perform routine visual inspections of soldered connections and mechanical inspections of electronic and electromechanical assemblies.
• Inspect engineering designs, piece parts, final assemblies, tooling, wires, and sensors.
• Use inspection and measurement equipment including:
• Calipers
• Micrometers
• Pin and block gauges
• V-blocks
• Comparators
• Prepare documentation for acceptance or rejection of inspected/tested items.
• Identify quality concerns, process inefficiencies, and deviations from established standards.
• Participate in statistical analysis of process data to verify compliance with quality requirements.
• Implement and maintain technical quality assurance procedures.
• Conduct internal audits and follow up on corrective actions.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, parts lists, and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) requirements.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation.
• Follow established procedures and detailed work instructions.
• Work effectively with manufacturing and cross-functional teams.
• Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

• Familiarity with aerospace materials/components such as casting, forging, molding, stainless steel, and electronic components is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, industrial, or other highly regulated environments.

• Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM–3:30 PM.
• May occasionally require nights, weekends, variable schedules, or additional hours based on business needs.
• Regular and punctual attendance is required.
