Job summary

Grand River Aseptic Manufacturing, Inc. seeks a QC Chemist II for the 1st shift (Group A: 6:00 am–4:00 pm, Sun–Wed) to support quality systems in testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished products. Responsibilities include instrument operation, data review, and adherence to cGMP regulations.

The role requires a bachelor’s in chemistry or related field, 3+ years of pharmaceutical testing, and respirator qualification. Strong MS Office skills and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related discipline; pharma QA/QC exposure preferred.
• Minimum 3 years pharma/testing experience.
• Qualification for use of a full-face respirator required.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical, chemical, and instrumental analysis of raw materials, in-process, and finished products.
• Prepare standards and samples for analysis.
• Run instrumentation (HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV-Vis) per SOPs.
• Review laboratory data for accuracy and GMP/GLP compliance.
• Process data, generate reports, and evaluate findings.
