Job summary

Grand River Aseptic Manufacturing (GRAM) is seeking a QC Chemist I to support quality systems during manufacturing and testing of cGMP drug products. You will provide general laboratory support for raw materials, excipients, and finished products, ensuring compliance and data integrity.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field, 1–3 years pharma experience, and ability to operate essential analytical instruments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and/or related discipline (e.g. Biochemistry, Biotechnology).
• Minimum of 1–3 years pharmaceutical or testing experience.
• Requirement to qualify for use of a full-face respirator.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical, chemical, and instrumental analysis of active pharmaceutical ingredients, excipients and finished products.
• Prepare standards and samples for analysis.
• Run instrumentation independently (HPLC, FTIR, UV-Vis) and perform related testing per SOPs.
• Review laboratory data for accuracy and adherence to cGMP/GLP regulations.
• Process data, generate reports, and evaluate results.
