Job summary

Grand River Aseptic Manufacturing (GRAM) is seeking a QC Chemist II to support quality systems in the manufacturing and testing of cGMP drug products. You will provide general laboratory support for in-process, stability, and finished product testing.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field and at least 3 years of pharmaceutical/testing experience, with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related discipline; minimum 3 years pharma/testing experience.
• Qualification for use of a full-face respirator is required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical, chemical, and instrumental analysis of in-process and finished pharmaceutical products.
• Prepare standards and samples for analysis.
• Run instrumentation independently (HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV-Vis) according to SOPs.
• Review laboratory data for accuracy and GMP/GLP compliance.
• Process data, generate reports, and evaluate data.
• Maintain compliance with cGMPs and company SOPs.
