Job summary

Now-Health-Group,-Inc. is seeking a QC Chemist I to perform materials testing and instrumentation operation at the Bloomingdale, IL plant.

The role includes setting up pH meters and analytical instruments, interpreting results, and ensuring documentation accuracy to meet quality specifications. The position requires a BS in laboratory science or related field, familiarity with analytical equipment, and solid computer skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in laboratory science or equivalent from four-year college or technical school
• Experience with instrumental analysis (FTIR, FT-NIR, HPLC, HPTLC, GC, ICP/MS, ICP/OES and UV/Vis)
• Knowledge of cGMP regulations and laboratory safety procedures
• Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Access)

Responsibilities

• Tests materials as assigned by priority listing provided daily by QC management using various equipment.
• Independently sets up, runs, and troubleshoots instrumentation.
• Performs data interpretation and reporting.
• Revises SOPs as needed.
• Provides guidance to technicians.
• Records and evaluates data and documentation for completeness.
• Initiates out-of-spec investigations.
