Job summary

ClinLab Solutions Group is seeking a QC Chemist to perform analytical testing, operate advanced instruments, and support quality control in our New York laboratory.

The role emphasizes data interpretation, investigation support, and strict adherence to cGMP, safety, and documentation standards, with potential weekend or holiday shifts as needed.

Team collaboration and training on new methods will be part of the role, ensuring accurate results and continuous improvement in the QC process.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in physical sciences required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in English for scientific communication.
  • Strong organizational, learning, and teaching skills for effective teamwork.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and scientific software applications.
  • Working knowledge of analytical instruments such as HPLC, GC, Karl Fisher, ICP, and particle size analyzers.
  • Experience with inhalation products (DPI) is a plus.
  • Ability to work standing or walking unassisted for most of an 8-hour shift and lift up to 10 kg as needed.
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment and work with laboratory chemicals and materials.
  • Willingness to work assigned shifts, including possible weekends or holidays.

  • Conduct raw material testing and release, ensuring compliance with established protocols and specifications.
  • Collaborate with team members to support continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the laboratory setting.
  • Follow all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment, and work with various chemicals and materials found in a laboratory or manufacturing environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by department leadership, including shift work and potential weekend or holiday assignments.
