Job summary

MilliporeSigma is seeking a skilled analyst to join a small QC team in Urbana, IL. You will prep samples, run complex analytical tests on ICP-MS, ICP-OES, Karl Fischer, UV-VIS, and related instruments, and interpret data to support QC for incoming, in-process, and finished goods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or other Life Science discipline.
• 4+ years of analytical lab experience.
• ISO 9001:2015 quality standards knowledge and SAP familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform analytical testing of inorganic materials on instruments (ICP-MS, ICP-OES, Karl Fischer, auto titrator, TGA-DSC, UV-VIS, oxygen analyzer).
• Prepare samples, perform testing, analyze data, and make usage decisions for multiple stages of manufacturing.
• Lead project teams, drive process improvements with quality, regulatory, manufacturing, and safety considerations.
