Job summary

Precisionstaffingusa seeks a QC Chemist for its Bedford Park, IL site to join the Quality Assurance team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will ensure raw materials, in-process materials, finished products, and packaging meet specifications and regulatory requirements, reporting to the QA Manager.

Responsibilities include testing, audits, data analysis, and collaboration with QA, Production, Plant Management, and EHS to improve quality and plant performance.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of wet chemistry testing experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory testing and quality control principles.
• Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and data analysis.
• Strong computer/PC skills.
• Excellent technical problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate professionally with employees at all levels.
• Able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
• Provide daily production support through testing, adjustments, and disposition.
• Conduct quality and production line audits to verify procedures and specs.
• Review batch records, manufacturing documentation, and quality records.
• Identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Utilize SPC methods for data collection, analysis and improvement.
• Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
