Job summary

Momentum Staffing Group LLC is seeking a hands-on Chemist to contribute to analytical testing and quality control operations in a safe, dynamic laboratory environment.

You will conduct analyses of crude and refined samples using HPLC, GC and ICP methods, perform wet chemistry techniques, document results, and participate in safety training and continuous improvement initiatives at our Tinley Park, IL site.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline
• Prior lab experience is a plus
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking skills
• Ability to communicate effectively and work both independently and on a team

Responsibilities

• Conduct analysis of crude, refined products, and other samples using HPLC, GC and ICP methods
• Perform a variety of wet chemistry techniques
• Document test results and ensure accurate record keeping
• Follow safety protocols and attend ongoing compliance trainings
