Job summary

CPS Inc. in Indiana seeks a Senior QC Chemist to lead and train QC Chemists, owning calibration of analytical tools and SOPs. You will ensure accurate analyses of raw materials, in-process materials, finished products, and shipments, while upholding HSE and regulatory standards.

The role emphasizes developing analytical methods, maintaining instrumentation, and driving quality-system improvements in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry/ Biology or related science.
• Minimum 5 years of related work experience in a manufacturing or QC setting.
• Experience with lab instrument maintenance and troubleshooting preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train QC Chemists and own calibration of analytical tools and SOPs.
• Manage QC Lab instruments and testing reagents for raw material, process, finished product, and shipments.
• Develop and validate analytical methods and analyses; maintain instrumentation supporting site needs.
• Drive continual improvement of quality systems (ISO and SQF) and support personnel development.
