Job summary

S&S Activewear, LLC is seeking a Team Lead to guide the Shipping team and focus on QA for incoming products and outgoing orders. The role ensures proper processes are followed, trains staff, and supports distribution center operations.

You will collaborate with leadership to drive process improvements, monitor QA databases, and manage daily QA tasks while ensuring safety and efficiency in a high-demand warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to read and speak English.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment and machinery.
• Must be comfortable using electronic devices.
• Can lift and carry up to 50lbs on occasion with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Basic math skills, ability to count, add, and subtract numbers quickly and accurately.
• Ability to identify colors, sizes, quantity, label, and SKU information.
• Must be flexible with start and departure time changing.
• Ability to work overtime when needed.
• Ability to work independently without close supervision.
• Responsible for any additional duties assigned.

Responsibilities

• Work with leadership to implement process improvements throughout the DC.
• Maintain QA databases up to date (incoming inspection, final inspection, scrap).
• Lead the QA Team under guidance of QA Manager.
• Train new and current employees in QA procedures.
• Monitor customer orders, receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping to meet company standards.
• Operate warehouse equipment (cherry pickers, reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks).
• Meet KPI targets for safety, quality, production, and efficiency.
• Record discrepancies, damaged items, shortages, or unidentified packages.
• Maintain audits of processed procedures.
• Cross-train in customer service duties as required.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of Distribution Center.
