Job summary

S&S Activewear, LLC is seeking a Team Lead to support the Shipping manager and interact with the DC team. The role ensures procedures are followed, provides guidance, and helps in training new and existing staff at the Distribution Center.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule, 2:30pm–11pm, at $23.43 hourly, with full-time, non-exempt status and comprehensive benefits. Applicants should be 18+, with a HS diploma or equivalent preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and speak English.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment and machinery.
• Must be comfortable using electronic devices.
• Can lift and carry up to 50lbs on occasion with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Basic math skills, ability to count, add, and subtract numbers quickly and accurately.
• Ability to identify colors, sizes, quantity, label, and SKU information.

Responsibilities

• Work with leadership for process improvements and support the DC.
• Monitor orders, receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping to meet safety, security, accuracy, and productivity standards.
• Operate required machinery in respective departments (e.g., cherry pickers, reach trucks, forklifts).
• Meet KPIs for safety, quality, production and efficiency.
• Report discrepancies, damaged items, shortages, or unidentified packages.
• Maintain audits of processed procedures.
• Train in customer service duties as required.
• Monitor and train new hires to ensure productivity and quality.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of Distribution Center.
• Follow SOPs, safety rules, and regulations.
• Remain professional and support a safe working environment.
• Perform other duties and cross-train as needed.
