Job summary

FCDO Services is seeking a proactive test lead to define and implement ISO-aligned test strategies across diverse projects. You will optimise test processes, produce documentation, and manage a team of testers to deliver high-quality outcomes. Collaboration with stakeholders ensures defects reflect operational priorities.

The role requires automation expertise, Agile/ITIL familiarity, ISTQB Advanced, and cloud/VM experience to support our global mission and secure government systems.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing test strategies.
• Strong background in automation testing and defect tracking.
• Familiarity with Agile and ITIL foundations; ISTQB Advanced certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of SQL basics for database interrogation.
• Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and virtualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement test strategies that meet ISO standards and align with business requirements.
• Improve and optimise current test processes and documentation; propose solutions to stakeholders.
• Lead and manage a testers team; ensure work is signed off by end users.
• Coordinate with colleagues to ensure defect management reflects operational priorities.
