Responsibilities

• Perform highly advanced analysis and testing tasks related to software development.
• Responsible for activities during all phases of the system development life cycle including analyzing, diagnosing and resolving reported software problems and troubleshooting system issues.
• Work with business users and SMEs to create and update test cases and execute testing.
• Act as the main point of contact between IT, business users, and the development team.
• Leading triages, tracking, prioritizing, and managing defects.
• Create metrics to measure application quality and defect tracking.
• Providing and reviewing updates on UAT progress and results.
• Provide project status updates, progress on defects, and check progress on requirement traceability and coverage.
• Ensure exit criteria are met and obtaining final sign-off from the business.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

• 8+ years testing experience.
• Must have experience as a QALead managing test team and coordinating all testing and related activities.
• Must have experience with Salesforce and testing within Salesforce environment.
• Experience in writing and executing test cases as well as creating test plans.
• Experience in managing testing process with creation and execution of test plans, test cases, and test data for manual testing and automated scripts.
• Strong QA automation testing and scripting experience.
• Experience in generating manual and automated test scripts to support business requirements.
• Experience working on different types of testing: eg unit, integration, regression, smoke , user acceptance, system, stress and load/performance.
• Ability to work under pressure under tight time constraints.
• Ability to assist by responding to inquiries from others regarding errors, problems or question about programs.
• Ability to effectively organize and present complex technical information both orally and in writing.
• Experience in overseeing the tracking or reporting of testing data and defect management.
• Experience in coordinating testing activities and data collection with internal and external customers.
• Experience in collaborating with stakeholders, IT teams, and project managers to understand requirements, identify potential issues, define testing score, and ensure smooth implementation.
• Experience in mentoring and training QA team members on E HR testing methodologies, best practices, data migration testing and workflows.
• Excellent communication abilities to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinicians, IT staff, and project managers.
• Experience in developing detailed test cases covering various scenarios user roles within the EHR system.
• Experience working in state agency preferred.
• Able to effectively report and communicate clearly to leadership team.
• PMP is not required, but must have demonstrated experience in aspects of project management.
