Job summary

Dev Technology is seeking a Mid-Level Manual Tester to support the delivery of high-quality software solutions for our federal clients. This role ensures applications meet business requirements, performance expectations, and quality standards before release.

You will collaborate with Product Owners, Analysts, Developers, and stakeholders to identify defects and validate functionality across platforms. Responsibilities include designing test plans, executing functional and regression tests, and

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in software quality assurance and manual testing.
Experience testing web-based applications and enterprise software solutions.
Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
Experience creating and executing test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
Hands-on experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar defect management tools.
Ability to analyze requirements and identify testing gaps and risks.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Self-starter with excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business and technical requirements.
Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and user acceptance testing.
Document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution.
Validate application functionality, data accuracy, and system integrations.
Collaborate with developers, analysts, and product teams to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
Participate actively in Agile development processes.
Support release testing and production validation activities.
Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, standards, and documentation.
