Job summary

Electrosoft Services, LLC, a federal contractor, seeks a QA/Software Tester to design, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans for enterprise applications. You will perform functional, integration, system, and performance testing, validating security and business requirements while collaborating with developers, analysts, and engineers.

You will support SDLC phases, develop automated tests, track defects, and contribute to CI/CD pipeline integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/SE/IT or related discipline.
• 4+ years in software development, testing, QA, or related.
• Experience creating and executing test plans, cases, scripts, and defect processes.
• Experience with enterprise software testing and SDLC/STLC.
• Familiarity with AWS (EC2) and LDAP testing.
• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain test plans, cases, scripts, and data.
• Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and performance testing.
• Validate software against business, technical, and security requirements.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to resolve defects.
• Support SDLC phases including requirements, design reviews, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts.
• Track, document, and manage defects through resolution and closure.
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
• Support testing for cloud-hosted environments (AWS) and LDAP directory services.
• Verify patching and system integration testing across apps, databases, APIs, IAM, and platforms.
• Contribute to test environments, data sets, and configuration baselines.
• Develop testing reports, metrics, dashboards, and stakeholder updates.
• Support cybersecurity and compliance testing and CI/CD automation.
• Participate in code/design reviews to improve quality and testability.
