About Us
We're a mission-driven startup building AI-powered recruitment products designed to transform how hiring happens. We value ownership, speed, and purpose-driven engineering — and now we're looking for a passionate QA/Test Engineer to help us ship confidently and reliably.
As part of our early team, you’ll help define our testing strategy, implement automation frameworks, and ensure every release meets the highest quality standards. If you enjoy owning your space, love solving bugs before they go live, and want to grow with a product from the ground up — this is for you.
What You’ll Do
- Design, build, and maintain robust test suites (automated and manual) to validate functionality, performance, and edge-case stability
- Develop and execute end-to-end testing strategies for web applications, APIs, and backend systems
- Own test coverage and quality metrics across the development lifecycle
- Set up automation pipelines using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Karate, or Playwright
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and users to identify and resolve bugs early
- Document test cases, test plans, and testing procedures for regression and future-proofing
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and bug-free deployments
- Continuously evolve our QA practices to match the pace and ambition of a growing startup
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of hands-on testing experience in both manual and automated testing environments
- Experience with modern testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Karate, Postman, JUnit, TestNG)
- Strong understanding of test case design, defect lifecycle, and regression testing
- Familiarity with APIs, REST testing, and backend validation
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration of test cases within them (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Experience testing web applications (React is a plus)
- A mindset that values quality, performance, and user experience
Bonus Points
- Prior experience in an early-stage startup or product company
- Exposure to performance testing and tools like JMeter or LoadRunner
- Basic scripting or programming knowledge (Python, JavaScript, etc.)
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments
- Curiosity to learn and grow across QA, DevOps, and automation
What’s in It for You
- Early team equity options — grow with the product you help perfect
- A culture of ownership, transparency, and high standards
- Remote-first, async-friendly work environment
- Opportunity to shape processes, tools, and testing philosophy
- Room to grow into a QA lead role as the team scales
