What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and maintain robust test suites (automated and manual) to validate functionality, performance, and edge-case stability
• Develop and execute end-to-end testing strategies for web applications, APIs, and backend systems
• Own test coverage and quality metrics across the development lifecycle
• Set up automation pipelines using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Karate, or Playwright
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and users to identify and resolve bugs early
• Document test cases, test plans, and testing procedures for regression and future-proofing
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and bug-free deployments
• Continuously evolve our QA practices to match the pace and ambition of a growing startup

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of hands-on testing experience in both manual and automated testing environments
• Experience with modern testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Karate, Postman, JUnit, TestNG)
• Strong understanding of test case design, defect lifecycle, and regression testing
• Familiarity with APIs, REST testing, and backend validation
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration of test cases within them (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Experience testing web applications (React is a plus)
• A mindset that values quality, performance, and user experience

Bonus Points

• Prior experience in an early-stage startup or product company
• Exposure to performance testing and tools like JMeter or LoadRunner
• Basic scripting or programming knowledge (Python, JavaScript, etc.)
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments
