Position Title: Manual QA Tester

Terms: Contract to Hire

Hours: Full Time

Location: Remote

Position Description:

Our client is looking for multiple QA Tester candidates for a remote, contract to hire position where you will create/update manual test cases in C# for a desktop application to meet the security, coding and functionality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Be involved in all aspects of the SDLC, including but not limited to the test/release cycle which involves executing and/or performing manual tests, reviewing results, troubleshooting, and updating tests if needed.
• Write documentation to support test results including defect reports and tracking defect resolutions.
• Participate in team standups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, requirements team meetings, and retrospective.
• Troubleshoot production issues.
• Create integration tests.
• Develop tools and practices that will increase the efficiency of your team.
• Work seamlessly with others in a collaborative and team-oriented setting.

Skills:

• 5+ years Manual testing experience
• Strong proficiency with C# as it relates to integration testing
• Experience with Object Oriented programming
• High competency with Visual Studio 2019 and above (IDE)
• Proficiency with SQL
• Self-starter who can grasp difficult concepts quickly
• High-level of analytical skills and attention to detail

Required Education:

BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
