Job summary

Westlake Pipe & Fittings is seeking a quality assurance specialist responsible for QA testing of finished product in accordance with North American Pipe’s standard procedures. You will oversee physical tests, document results, and help ensure product quality across the manufacturing process while complying with quality policy.

In a fast-paced plant environment you will review stock, identify damaged items, complete paperwork, perform inspections with various instruments, and support safety,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Three years' experience or training/education in production and/or quality control.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of physical tests of product, including but not limited to; rubber ring testing, impact, quick burst, flattening, brabender, long term testing and all other required QA testing.
• Completes paperwork and reports as needed.
• Uses a variety of tools and instruments to assess and inspect product.
• Checks the quality of finished goods, including those loaded for delivery, and returned goods for acceptance to stock.
• Reviews stocked pipe periodically and identifies damaged product to be removed from inventory.
• Must maintain area to be clean and free from safety hazards.
• Other duties may be assigned to assist in daily plant operations.
